Our Story

Fort Wayne Rocks, Inc. (FWR) was founded in 1999 when it’s local owners decided to start selling stone out of the back of a pick-up truck for weekend play money. Driving to local quarries and hand-stacking pallets on a flat bed trailer developed into a daily routine. Soon the demand for more locally quarried stone , as well as natural stone products from other areas of the country led to a blossoming business idea: selling rocks for a living! Incorporated in 2000, FWR has developed into Northeast Indiana’s foremost authority for natural stone products, stocking stone from over a dozen different quarries. At the peak of the building and landscape season FWR employs nearly 20 people, and delivers stone with its own fleet of trucks.
